Abstract The purpose of the dissertation work is to construct a developed theory of the influence of magnetic fields on dusty plasma in the vicinity of the Moon, including wave processes and nonlinear structures. The dissertation is the first to study the influence of magnetic fields in the Earth’s magnetotail and magnetic fields in regions of magnetic anomalies of the Moon on the transfer of dust over the lunar surface and the formation of dust plasma over the Moon. It is shown that the influence of the magnetic component of the Lorentz force leads to the transfer of dust particles from the region of high lunar latitudes towards the equator of the Moon, thereby leading to the possibility of the formation of dust plasma over most of the lunar surface. It is shown for the first time that the majority of dust particles in the dust plasma above the illuminated part of the Moon can be considered as levitating. For the first time, an analysis of linear and nonlinear processes associated with the propagation of waves under the influence of magnetic fields in lunar dusty plasma has been carried out. The results of the dissertation work are of great theoretical and practical importance for the physics of dusty plasma and the physics of space plasma, in particular, for the preparation of an experimental research program for the future space missions “Luna-26” and “Luna-27”. The results of the thesis can be used by a wide range of specialists in developing models of dusty and cosmic plasma, etc. |
