Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the prevalence of sensorineural hearing loss among infants suffering from congenital heart diseases and compare the degree of hearing impairment in those suffering from cyanotic heart disease compared to those suffering from acyanotic heart disease Congenital heart defects are the singular most common congenital anomalies and account for a significant fraction of childhood mortality and morbidity.
