Abstract This thesis is dedicated to study the effect of connecting PV system to the grid through comprehensive simulation, modeling and control of PV system which is connected to the electric government grid, the study considers the effect of variation of power gathered from solar system as well as the introduction of penetrating harmonics to the system. the simulation is applied in mat-lab software using simulink environment and in real time considering an actual case study is presented. An experimental instrumentation is carried out on 40-kwp PV station is connected to government 11 kv electricity line and with three-level voltage source converter (vsc). the technical data was recorded and the power quality of the system was analyzed. while also PV syst software is used with the technical office studies to accomplish the reliability and compare it with the mat-lab results. This experimental instrumentation had been made to explain the content in simple terms and technical data has been recorded in a lucid implementation and figures to ensure practical solution. appropriate previous researches are provided where necessary to support the explanation of the case study |
