Abstract The present study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of using an electronic program –based on gamification to develop primary school pupils’ vocabulary learning and motivation. The researcher followed the quasi-experimental design. The study sample consisted of 50 pupils distributed into two groups: A control group and a treatment group. The design sample were randomly chosen from Balat primary school. An electronic program –based on gamification was used in teaching the treatment group while the traditional method was used with the control one in the second term of the school year (2021-2022).
