Abstract

This work aimed to study and assess how speckle tracking can predict in hospital MACE in patients treated with Primary PCI vs pharmacoinvasive strategy vs rescue PCI This study was conducted on 90 patients admitted with STEMI and treated with 1ry PCI , Pharmacoinvasive PCI or rescue PCI at Cardiovascular Medicine Department Tanta University Hospitals within 6 months. Patients were divided into 3 groups:group I in which 40 patients subjected to primary PCI. In group II, 30 patients were subjected to rescue PCI. In group III, 20 patients were subjected to pharmacoinvasive PCI. Speckle tracking echocardiography was done to all patient groups during the first 24 hours of their hospital admission.
