المستخلص The present study aimed at developing some EFL productive skills and the flow state among Al-Azhar primary-stage students by using a project-based strategy. It adopted the quasi-experimental design. The participants of the study were (74) third primary stage students enrolled in Damanhour Primary Institute, Behira Governorate during the second term of the year 2022-2023. The instruments of the present study included an EFL speaking skills test, an EFL speaking skills scoring rubric, an EFL writing skills test, an EFL writing skills scoring rubric, and a flow state questionnaire. These instruments of the present study were applied to the two groups to make sure that they were equivalent in the EFL productive skills and the flow state. After implementing the project-based strategy for the experimental group, the EFL speaking and writing post-tests and a flow state questionnaire were applied again for both the two groups. The findings of the study revealed that the project-based strategy was effective in developing EFL productive skills and the flow state among third primary stage students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the project-based strategy is effective in developing EFL productive skills and flow state and could be applied in EFL curricula in the primary stage.
