Abstract

Ewing Sarcoma is a highly aggressive bone and soft-tissue malignant cancer. Worldwide, is considered the second most common bone and soft tissue cancer in children and adolescents. It occurs without particular clinical signs and can impact several different areas (Amer et al., 2022). It is classified as a tumor with unfavorable prognosis and a poor overall survival, especially in metastatic or relapsed disease (Daher, et al., 2023) with 20–25% of patients presenting metastases at the time of diagnosis. Cure rates for metastatic and relapsed disease remain poor. So, more than 90 % of patients die from disseminated disease. EWS requires a very intensive treatment regimen including multiple chemotherapies as well as surgery or radiation for local control (Gillani et al., 2022) and (Zöllner et al., 2021).
Community health nurse play an instrumental role in assessment techniques that lead to prompt evaluation and intervention of such diseases. Community health nurse is a vital in the education and reinforcement of supportive care needs for patients with Ewing Sarcoma and their caregivers (Gabbert, 2020).
