المستخلص The aim of the current research is to: determine the effectiveness of a proposed program based on the humanistic approach in teaching history on developing the dimensions of cultural communication and cultural identity among first-year secondary school students. The research group consisted of (40) female first-year secondary school students، and the experimental method with a group was used. One and the pre and post measurement of the research variables. To achieve the research goal، the following materials and tools were prepared: a proposed program based on the humanistic approach to teaching history، two lists of the dimensions of cultural communication and cultural identity، and two tests of the dimensions of cultural communication and cultural identity. The results of the research reached: The effectiveness of the proposed program based on the humanitarian approach in developing the dimensions of cultural communication and cultural identity among female students in the first year of secondary school. Therefore، the research recommended the necessity of including the dimensions of cultural communication and cultural identity through the humanitarian approach by formulating the content of history curricula at the secondary stage، activating artistic and aesthetic activities، and employing them in female students acquiring more skills and learning some handicrafts and heritage industries and reviving the ancient Egyptian and Arab-Islamic civilizations.
