Abstract

Noninvasive ventilation failure was defined as endotracheal intubation and surfactant administration without attempting further NIV strategies. Lung ultrasound (LUS) has emerged as a promising diagnostic tool with studies reporting accurate results in the diagnosis of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (RDS). many non invasive devices have been developed and studied for hemodynamic assessment. One of these new non-invasive methods is thoracic electrical bioimpedance.
