Abstract The breeding of domestic rabbits was used for multipurpose, meat and fur production and as lab animals for laboratory diagnosis and research. In recent years, there has been an increasing production of rabbits as a source of higher percentage of protein, low cholesterol and fat meat. A total of 60 New Zealand white rabbits of 2 months old, were purchased from a private rabbit farm without previous history of rabbit haemorrhagic disease virus vaccination against rabbit haemorrhagic disease virus. They housed in disinfected metal cages in well-ventilated room. They received commercial pellet ration. Rabbits were divided into 4 equal groups (15 rabbits in each) |
