Abstract
Congenital heart disease (CHD) is a prevalent pediatric condition characterized by abnormalities in the development of the heart and major arteries. CHD can be categorized into two main types: cyanotic and acyanotic. The newborn with heart disease can present with significant pathophysiologic heterogeneity and therefore requires a personalized therapeutic management plan.
