Abstract
The aim of this study is to Examine the impact of security, environmental and economic stability on tourism development in Beni-Suef governorate, determine to what extent does the degree of awareness of the local community affect the tourism development in Beni-Suef governorate. Furthermore, clarifying the extent of stakeholders’ effect on achieving tourism development in Beni-Suef governorate, Examine the impact of tourism investment on tourism development and establishment of tourism projects, in addition, Illustration the impact of evaluating the current situation of Beni-Suef governorate on achieving tourism development. The study relied on the quantitative approach, where an interview and questionnaire were used as a tool for data collection and 33 interviews were distributed among the stakeholders in Beni-Suef governorate. in addition, 300 questionnaires were distributed among tourists and only 207 questionnaires were retrieved and valid for statistical analysis with a response rate was 82.8 percent. The SPSS version 27 was used analysis to discover the mediating role of some study variables. The study concluded that security, environmental and economic stability have an impact on achieving tourism development. The study also found that the degree of awareness of the local community plays a role in achieving tourism development in the governorate. Furthermore, the results of the study indicated that there is a relationship between the stakeholders and achieving tourism development, in addition, the tourism investment plays a role in achieving tourism development. The study concluded that evaluating the current situation of the governorate has an impact on achieving tourism development. The study recommended the necessity of working to raise the degree of tourism awareness of the local population, as they are a fundamental focus for achieving tourism development in Beni-Suef governorate. In addition, working to train the concerned parties to carry out their role and provide the efforts required for the success of the tourism development process. In addition, the study recommended creating a competitive environment and improving the infrastructure to attract tourism investment to the governorate. The study also recommended the necessity of conducting a continuous evaluation to identify the problems and challenges that hinder tourism development and work to solve them.
