Abstract The main purpose of the research is to measure the relationship between the dimensions of physical and technological environment of the museum on developing visitor experience and revisit intention within the National Museum of Egyptian civilization, Which are displayed in a brand-new interactive display that uses cutting-edge technology to peel back the layers and uncover the secrets of the rituals and religious beliefs related to mummification in ancient Egypt through an outstanding architecture design, which can enrich Visitors experience to revisit the museum in the future. The research contributes to the limited research on the combined effects of museum design and technology on visitor experience and revisit intention. The findings provide valuable insights for museum marketers and researchers seeking to improve the museum-going experience. The results revealed that the museum technology has the strongest significant positive effect on the entertainment dimension of the visitor experience followed by museum design. In addition, there is a significant positive relationship between visitor experience and revisit intention as the 4ES of visitor experience is a stronger predictor of the revisit intention. The research applied a quantitative methodology, and data was collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The population of study for this research was the visitors of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The sampling method for this study is non-probability sampling, specifically convenient sampling. The sample was 384. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data and test the hypothesized relationships. |
