The study aimed at revealing the strategies of psychological savoring and cognitive schemas in predicting the level of flourishing at work among the study sample of teaching assistants, and to explore their impact and interaction considering the variables of gender (male/female) and academic rank (teaching assistant/assistant lecturer). It sought to determine the contribution of both psychological savoring strategies and cognitive schemas in predicting flourishing at work among the study sample of teaching assistants. The study was conducted on a sample of 300 teaching assistants, including 109 males and 191 females, with ages ranging from 23 to 38 years, an average age of 29.747 years, and a standard deviation of 4.041 years. The study used the Work Flourishing Scale and Psychological Savoring strategies Scale (developed by the researcher) and the Positive Cognitive Schemas Scale (the short version of the Positive Cognitive Schemas Scale by Louis et al. (2018), translated by Abdel Hamid and Dungul (2022). The results indicated statistically significant differences between the experimental mean and the arithmetic mean of psychological savoring strategies among the study sample of teaching assistants. Additionally, the results showed statistically significant differences between the experimental mean and the arithmetic mean of positive cognitive schemas among the study sample of teaching assistants. There were also statistically significant differences between the experimental mean and the arithmetic mean of psychological flourishing among the study sample of teaching assistants. However, there was no statistically significant effect of the interaction between the variables of gender (male/female) and academic rank (teaching assistant/assistant lecturer) on positive cognitive schemas (total score and sub-dimensions) among the study sample of teaching assistants.
