Abstract

This work aimed to study textile waste Water quality during the period from JULY, 2012 to JULY, 2016. characterization of waste water resources through physical and chemical and bacteriological analysis were investigated. studying the reduction of Total Dissolved Salt ,Chemical Oxygen Demand , Biological Oxygen Demand to decrease organic load. in addition evaluate the percentage efficient of Total Dissolved Salt ,Chemical Oxygen Demand , Biological Oxygen Demand.
The results achieved are summarized in the following points:
1- The range of pH value in effluent waste water from 6-9 while influent range from 9.5 to 12.3 the effluent value acceptable where environmental regulation law in Egypt allow from this limit from 6-9.
2-pH value of waste water has no health implication but many chemical reactions are controlled by the pH. Biological activities and some chemical treatment processes are usually restricted by pH. Waste water for biological process is narrowed in the pH range of 6 – 9, as highly acidic or alkaline wastewaters are undesirable because of hazardous effects and difficulties in treatment.
3-The range of Total Suspended solid value in influent from 3784 as maximum to 1890 as minimum where maximum value in effluent is 840 and minimum value is 97 with percentage removal arrive to 94.8 %. The effluent value acceptable where environmental regulation law in Egypt allow from this limit is 800 .

Summary
where Total Suspended Solid reduce the light penetration in water that leads to reduce photosynthesis , localized depletion of dissolved oxygen (DO) in the bottom layer of water bodies.
4-The range of Biological Oxygen Demand value in influent from 2500 as maximum to 1000 as minimum where maximum value in effluent is 450 and minimum value is 97 with percentage removal arrive to 94.8 %. The effluent value acceptable where environmental regulation law in Egypt allow from this limit is 600 .
5-BOD determination is an empirical test used to determine the relative oxygen requirements of waste waters, effluents and polluted waters. The test measures the molecular oxygen utilized during specified incubation period for degradation of organic material and the oxygen used to oxidize inorganic material.
6-The range of Chemical Oxygen Demand value in influent from 7260 as maximum to 6090 as minimum where maximum value in effluent is 1898 and minimum value is 595 .The percentage of removal of COD removal attended from 74% at least to 91% removal form influent waste water and Effluent .The effluent value acceptable where environmental regulation law in Egypt allow from this limit is 1100.
7-The total solid material can be characterized into non-filterable and filterable solids fraction. Maximum value in influent is 11640 to 8500 as minimum . where maximum value in effluent is 2630 to 890 as minimum with removal percentage arrive to 91.4%.

Summary
8-The average value for neutralisation, biology and effluent were 580000, 2080000, 333571respectively ,where this counts have a good relationship with industrial activities . The effluent recorded less variation of total count .
9-All detected concentrations of effluent COD, BOD5 and TSS were within the limits. The rate of the microbial contents removal was less than physicochemical quality because the system depended on biological treatment.
10 - Several of other techniques have also been carried out to treat the wastewater in order to develop a variety of ways. The interdisciplinary study based on the traditional biological approach will be the direction of the wastewater treatment. It was expected that the technology which is efficient, clean and reasonable will come out soon.
On the other hand, clean production is also an important research, which can shift the focus from end of the treatment to the prevention of pollution and conduct more in-depth research on the printing and dyeing production technology and process management. Moreover, the strategic, comprehensive, preventive measures and advanced production technology can be used to improve the material and energy utilization.

Summary
Also, we can reduce and eliminate the generation and emissions of wastes as well as the production of excessive use of resources and the risks to humans and the environment. Prevention and treatment of dyeing wastewater pollution are complementary. We can both use preventive measures as well as a variety of methods to control the wastes and make use of treated water. This will not only reduce water consumption, but also effectively reduce the pollution of the printing and dyeing wastewater and achieve sustainable development of society.
