المستخلص
تتناول الأطروحة موضوع تطوّر الحدود الإداريّة بمحافظات الدلتا المصريّة، من وجهة نظر جغرافيّة تطبيقيّة؛ على أبعاد بيئية أربعة: الفزيوجرافية، والديموجرافية، والعمرانية، والاقتصادية. وتقدّم توصيات ومقترحات لصُنّاع القرار بما يتوافق مع استراتيجية مصر للتنمية المستدامة - رؤية مصر 2030.
خُصصت المقدمة للتعريف بالموضوع وأسباب اختياره وأهدافه وأهميته ومراحله، والمشكلة موضوع البحث، ومناهجه والدراسات السابقة والمتعلقة، والأدوات والبرمجيات المستخدمة. كما استعرض التمهيد ماهية الحدود وعوامل ومعايير التقسيم الإداري بشكلٍ عام.
خصص الفصل الأول للتعريف بمنطقة الدراسة، والخريطة الإدارية لمصر ومنطقة الدراسة، كما تتبعت التطوّر الإداري بمنطقة الدراسة عبر التاريخ حتى وقت إجراء الدراسة.
أما الفصل الثاني، فقد خصص لعرض الملامح الجغرافية العامة لمنطقة الدراسة، خاصةً في العلاقات المكانية والإدارية، والمُناخ، والملامح الديموجرافية.
ناقش الفصل الثالث تأثير الخريطة الإدارية على الأبعاد المكانية الأربعة بمنطقة الدراسة: البُعد الفزيوجرافي، والبُعد الديموجرافي، والبُعد العُمراني، والبُعد الاقتصادي.
استعرض الفصل الرابع أسباب ودوافع استحداث الحدود الإدارية بمنطقة الدراسة، وعرض بعض المقترحات السابقة لإعادة ترسيم الحدود بها. كما ناقشت الدراسة مقترحها حول بديلاً جديداً لإعادة ترسيم الحدود الإدارية في دلتا النيل.
كان الفصل الخامس هو الفصل الخاتم لما سبقه من فصول، فقد استعرض رؤية مستقبلية لإقليم الدلتا المقترح حتى عام 2030، وأضح أبعاد التكامل الأربعة: : الفزيوجرافية، والديموجرافية، والعمرانية، والاقتصادية. ثم ناقش المُخرجات الاستراتيجية لمخطط التنمية المستدامة ليظهر دور الجغرافيا التطبيقية في وضع مقترحات التنمية بمحافظات إقليم الدلتا المقترح.
تأتي الخاتمة في نهاية الدراسة، والتي شملت نتائج مستخلصة وتوصيات هامة بحسب رأي الطالب، مع أمل بأن يكون قد وُفِق في تناول الحدود الإدارية بدلتا النيل في إطار جغرافي تطبيقي شامل.
The Fifth chapter serves as the concluding chapter, presenting a future vision for the proposed Delta region until 2030. It highlights the four integrated dimensions: physiographic, demographic, urban, and economic. The chapter then discusses the strategic outputs of the sustainable development plan, demonstrating the role of applied geography in formulating development proposals for the proposed Delta region provinces.
The Conclusion at the end of the study includes summarised results and important recommendations, expressing the hope that the student has succeeded in addressing the administrative boundaries in the Nile Delta within a comprehensive applied geographical framework.

Summary
The thesis discusses the evolution of administrative boundaries in the Egyptian Delta provinces from an applied geographical perspective, focusing on four environmental dimensions: physiographic, demographic, urban, and economic. It provides recommendations and proposals for decision-makers in line with Egypt’s sustainable development strategy, Egypt Vision 2030.
The Introduction is dedicated to introducing the topic, explaining the reasons for its selection, stating its objectives, significance, stages, defining the research problem, discussing research methods, previous studies, related tools, and software used. Additionally, the Prolegomena reviews the nature of boundaries and the general factors and criteria of administrative division.
The First chapter introduces the study area, the administrative map of Egypt, and the study area, tracing the administrative development in the study area throughout history up to the time of the study.
As for the Second chapter, it focuses on presenting the general geographical features of the study area, especially in spatial and administrative relations, climate, and demographic features.
The Third chapter discusses the impact of the administrative map on the four spatial dimensions of the study area: physiographic, demographic, urban, and economic dimensions.
The Fourth chapter reviews the reasons and motivations for establishing administrative boundaries in the study area, presenting some previous proposals for redrawing its boundaries. The study also discusses its proposal for a new alternative for redrawing administrative boundaries in the Nile Delta.
