A structured Interview Questionnaire was used to collect data pertained to the study which included patients’ knowledge questionnaire, Cardiac self-efficacy scale and World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire. Results: The findings showed that there was a statistically significant improvement in patients’ knowledge, cardiac self-efficacy and quality of life among the study group post implementing self-care training program compared to the control group where (p < 0. 001).Conclusion: Over all the study confirmed the benificial effect of self-care training program on knowledge, cardiac self–efficacy and quality of life of myocardial infarction patients. Recommendations: Incorporate self-care training program to routine care for myocardial infarction patients to improve their health outcomes.
