Abstract
A literature survey of hydrazone thiosemicarbazone complexes and of polarographic reduction of hydrazone compounds was made. Experimental details for the preparation of solutions and metal complexes were given. Working procedures and different apparatuses used were described. Two main types of complexes were isolated having the general formulae M(H2L)X2 and M(H2L)2X2 (keto complexes) or M(HL)2 and M(L).nH2O (enol complexes) where H2L = undis-sociated ligand and M=Cu2=, Co2=, Ni2=, Cd2=, Zn2=, Mn2=, Hg2= and UO2 (VI).
