Abstract
The 4- arylmethylene-2- (p- tolyl)- oxazolin-5-ones (Ia,c) reacted with primary amines, namely : aniline, o-toluidine, m-toluidine, p-toluidine. It is worth mention that the dyed polyester yarns showed a remarkable degree of levelness after the washing test, this may indicate better penetration of the dyes inside the fibers.
