Abstract
2-Aryl-4 arylazo-2-oxazolin-5ones were prepared by coupling aroylgycine with the appropriate diazonium salts in cold acetic anhydride containing freshly fused sodium acetate. The above 2-Aryl-4 arylazo-2-oxazolin-5ones 1 - 39 were characterized by elemental analysis and assessment of their spectra in the ultra violet, visible, and infrared ranges.
