Abstract
The condensation of 1-phenyl 3 - methyl 2 - pyrazolin 5 - one (I) with diketones gave products (II a-c)and III. Two moles (I)condence with one mole of benzil to give compound (Iv). The addition of (I) to P. methyl benzylidene acetophenone (Va) adducts (VI a and b) respectively.
