Abstract
The enzyme catalase had been prepared from different animal, bacterial and plant sources. plant catalase was detected in and isolated from green leaves of few plants including spinach. The usual factors affecting the enzymatic reaction will be studied. these will include pH. time and substrate concectration. the effect of heat has been fairly well studied by previous investigators.
