Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of dalapon, alar&GA3 on growth, flowering, fruiting, metabolism & pigment content of Phaseolus vulgaris plants at various stages of plant growth & development. Two experiments were carried out separately, in summer and spring, in which plants were treated, at the first leaf stage, with various concentrations of each chemical used. The results obtained showed that the response of growth, flowering & fruiting of Phaseolus vulgaris plants were dependent on the concentration and the type of the chemical used. Thus all the measured criteria of growth, flowering and fruiting either remained unchanged, accelerated or suppressed.
