Abstract
The western Nile Delta fringe lately suffer many changes especially ; reclamation, quarrying and dwelling since the Egyption Authorities have an important national targe for developing this area. In the present work, the selected area is bounded by the Rosetta branch of the Nile River at the east, the cairo - Alexandria asphaltic desert road at the west, the Sadat city - Kafr Dawoud asphaltic road at the north and the track of the gravel quarries from El - Khatatba toward Frontiers - post on the Cairo - Alexandria desert road in the south.
