Abstract
The present study uses the geochemical prospecting methods to determine the dispersion of uranium and its associated metals in the drainage network of the study area. The analysis of uranium in sediments and water provides an improved understanding of its natural concentration levels and factors affecting its migration in the surficial environment. This study lead to determine the uranium provinces in the area of study. The studied area is located between latitudes 28º 40 - 29° 20 N and longitudes 33º 10 - 33º 50 E and covers about 2250 Km².
