Abstract The present study aims to elucidata the geological and structural setting of the area and to apply the ground gamma ray spectrometric survey to locate the potential radioactive targets at Kab Amiri granitic pluton. The Kab Amiri Pluton forms a subcircular shaped granitic body, about 6 to 8 km in diameter intruded into a country rock comprising ophiolitic melange to the south, metasediments to the south and southeast, metavolcanics to the northeast and older granitoids to the northwest. |
