Abstract
Nonlinear longitudinal oscillations produced by applied high - frequency fields in a cold magneto-active plasma are investigated. within a certain range of applied frequencies, the possibility of the development of a parametric - type instability in a cold magneto-active plasma has been reported. it is found that the parametric resonace is caused by inhomogeneous of either the plasma density or the external field.
