Abstract
In this thesis, the total cross section for the weakly interacting W+ meson is calculated for the process. The W+ meson is assumed to have a magnetic and electric dipole moment. The total cross section is obtained for various possible values of the boson mass, and different values of the electric and magnetic dipole moment. Chapter one: Contains a short idea about the weak interactions and the electromagnetic interactions and the rules governing these reactions.
