Abstract In high speed communication, a band-limited channel disperses the transmitted symbol. This causes an overlap between the adjacent symbols. Such a phenomenon is called ISI. To overcome the ISI problem, channel equalization has been adopted. In this thesis we adopted the channel equalization to over-come the ISI problem by using the following methods: - Adaptive filters. - Neural net work approach. - MLP with decision feedback. |
