Abstract The present work aims at providing a deeper insight into and more accurate formulation of the problem of the flow field with in a blast .It is thus intended to determine the distribution of velocity , pressure, density and temperature profiles along this field , and to study the effect of different factors which affect this distribution . The main difficulty that faces the investigator in this connection is the pursuit of finding an accurate method of solution when the governing equations are characterized by being highly non linear coupled partial differential equation .In order to overcome such a difficulty it was decided to use in the present work a method based on the front coordinate series expansion , which transfers the governing differential equations into ordinary differential equations. Previous investigation in which the same solution technique was applied treated only the particular form of the problem designed as a constant energy blast and where the propagation takes place in a perfect gas with unchangeable initial density in the Eulerian space coordinate system . |
