Abstract

In the present work FLC (Fuzzy Logic Control) is used to control room temperature and relative humidity prameters. Dissertation Title Fuzzy Control of Centeral Air Conditioning System A computer simulation program for that system has been established. The system performance is compared with that of a conventional proportional control at different loads, different outside conditions and different cooling coil entering chilled water temperature. Key Words; Fuzzy, Control, Air Conditioning A central air conditioning system of single zone Air Handling Unit is used. Chilled water and hot water are used to control relative humidity and temperature in summer, Hot water and Steam injection are used to control temperature and relative humidity in winter. It has been found that Fuzzy controller guarantees human comfort in a better manner than that of proportional control. Results shows that Fuzzy controller is more efficient it consumes less energy than that of proportional control.Fuzzy control design steps is very simple and needs no complex equations at simulating plant.
