Abstract This study was cobducted on thirty adult males, with age ranged from 18 to 45 years, presented by simple frac- ture of one of the bones of either the upper or lower limbs. All were clinically compensated. The patients were divided into 3 groirps, ten in each. The patients of the first group were infused with dextran 70, the secoiA. grOUP WIth normal `ialine~ and the third group with dextrose 5% The infusion time was thirty minutes. Blood sauples were withdrown before inilusion and fifteen minutes after the termination of the infusion.Alsov blood samples were taken from ten adult healthy males (receving no infusion) as a control group. The following investigations were carried out on the blood samples& 1. Haematocrit Value. 2. Haemoglobin concentration. 3. Blood viscosity~ 4, Total plasma proteins* 5. Fibrinogen. |
