Abstract ,(I 5 males and 5 females), their ages ranged from 40-66 years, selected from those admitted to CCU, Mansoura, University Hospital. Patients were diagnosed clinically by acute chest pam, E.C.G changes and elevation of creatine kinase enzyme as well as creatme kinase-MB isoenzyme. Patients were excluded from the study if they were presented more than 24 hours after the onset of pam and also if any thrombolYtic treatment was given - They were classified according to blood sugar level into diabetics and n6n-diabetics and according to blood pressure measurement into hypertensives and non-hypertensives. A control group of 10 subjects of matched age and sex were selected for comparison.Both patients and controls were subjected to the following investigations A. Biochemical tests including - I- Serum creatme kinase enzyme (CK). |
