Abstract
The material of this work comprised 76 individualS ; 66 patient suffering f~om endocirne disorders and 10 healthY volunteers. They were classified into: 1- Acromegalic Group : This included 10 cases with active acromegaly; 5 males and 5 females. 11- Hypothyroid GroUP : This included 12 cases with clinicallY manifest hypothyroidism; 9 females and 3males. 111- Thyrotoxic Group : This included 14 cases with clinicallY manifest thyrotoxicosis; 12 females and 2 males. 1V- Diabetic GrouP : This included 30 cases. 21 females and 9 males. These patients were further classified according to the presence of hypertension. proliferative retinopathY, and CAN into.
