Abstract The aim of this work is to study the extra nodal Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in our locality, as regard the clinical presentation, the available diagnostic management is a retrosepective and prospective study from 1987-1993. Our study is a retrospective and prospective study from 1987-1993, it includes 162 or Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma patients classiried into two groups: Group(A): patients with primary nodal and disseminated nodal disease considered or 120 patients with age ranged rrom 16-74 years, the male to remale ratio was 1.6 : 1. Group(B):patients with primary etranodal Non-Hogdkin’s lymphoma comprised 32 patients with age ranged rrom 16-70 years. the male to remale ratio 1:1. Systemic(B) symptoms were round in (41.4%) or all our patients. In nodal cases was (61.9%) and primary extranodal or cases, it was (21.8%). The nodal involvement was the main presentation in 78.94% or cases while primary extranodal involvement by Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma was round in nearly 21% or cases. According to clinical s~aging, most or our nodal cases are diagnosed in an advanced stages, where stage III and IV represent about 69.16% and 29.16% or cases respectively. |
