Abstract
The present work is atrial to approach the physical emical factors affecting olinical strain of f..albic¬;The isolation and characterization of morphological oohemioal mutants. Comparative study of the mutant$ ’~le oharacters ; morphologiQal , cultural, biochem¬; virulence and resistance to antibiotics with the isolated clinioal strain. esults Obtained Showed Tha~ I • ( ~andida albicans wild strain. was isolated from four r~ase8 attending Mansoura University Hospital and it is proved by biochemical reaction , germ tube formation $nd chlamydospore formation that the isolated organism was C.albicans. Virulence test of the wild ~trains for mice showed that the wild strain ”3” which wa.s isolated from vagina was the highest virulent, i t cauae s deatl1. of the five mice injeoted by a dose 1 x 106 oells/ml, while strain (1) Which was isolated from the mouth waS the least Virulent, it causes death of three Qut of fi.ve mice injected alt- hough the injected dose was’ :x 107 cells/mI.
