Abstract In this study, 65 patients and 10 subjects as a control group were included. After thorough history taking , clinical examination, the subjects of all groups were subjected to full . investigations including, complete blood count, random blood glucose, liver function tests , serum creatinine and lipogram profil. They were also subjected to chest X ray, abdominal ultrasound and E.C.G. Then upper gastro-intestinal endoscopy was performed to all patients whome were classified accordingly into three groups: Group I: Patients with non ulcer dyspepsia which comprised 25 patients , 13 males and 12 females, with their age ranged from 35-55 years. Group II: Patients with duodenal ulcer which comprised 27 patients 19 males and 8 females with there age ranged from 35-55 years. Group III: Patients with gastric ulcer which comprised 13 patients all of them were males with their age ranged from 43-55 years. The healthy normal subjects of the control group were termed group IV for comparison with the three patients groups. |
