Abstract The aim of our study is to evaluate the magnitude of knowledge (KN) concerning various aspects of CAD problems, as well as needs for patients with CAD in our locality. We suggest that these data could be helpful during further planning for (I) primary as well as secondary preventive measures of CAD; (2) proper management of patients with CAD and (3) as a specific guide during preparing a rehabilitation program for CAD patients. Materials and work conduction: _ The materials of the present study comprised analysis the answers of 2240 sheet questionnaire about various aspects of coronary artery disease (CAD); that were adopted, answered, and returned back to the investigators by various participating individuals. _ The participants in the study were focused upon so as to represent’ various sectors in our community; cardiac caring doctors (206); non¬cardiac caring doctors (336); cardiac caring nurses (123) (represent managing providers for CAD patient); house officers (120); medical student (138) (representing the future practicing doctors in our community); non-cardiac caring nurses (265); paramedicals (t 12) (providing a more or less some health promotion to CAD patients); CAD-patients (336) and general population (580) (who could be at a risk of developing CAD). |
