Abstract This work was undertaken to study the effects of alcohol in the development of the cerebellar cortex in white rat. One hundred and ten white rats of various ages were used this study. The animals were classified into two groups: Group I : included sixty-five animals taken from regrets given free access to an ethanol-containing liquid from the 10th day of conception daily up to full-term. Group II: included forty-five animals taken from prig received is caloric diet from the 10th day of conidial up to full-term. 6 The specimens were taken at one, five, seven, ten, 21, and 50. 70, 90 and 110 days after birth. At the assigned times the animals were scarified by carriage perfusion with 10% neutral buffered formalin. In each the brain was gently separated from the base of the full and DROPped into the fixative. Staining procedures were used to demonstrate the different elements of the cerebellar cortex. They were including Haemntoxylin and Eosin stain, Cresyl fast violet stain technique. |
