Abstract
This study was conducted on 45 women ; 25 cases with severe pre-eclampsia and 20 controls with normal pregnancy in their third trimester. They were selected from Pregnancy Care Unit of Mansoura University Hospital. Both cases and control group were subjected to the following investigations : A- Complete blood picture. B- Screening coagulation tests : * Prothrombin time (PT). * Activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT). *Fibrinogen concentration. C- Specific coagulation tests : *Activated protein C-resistance (APC-R).*Thrombin-antithrombin complex (TAT).*Antithrombin III activity (AT-111). The results are summarized in the following points : There was statistically non significant changes in the mean.
