Abstract Forty-one patients with fracture of the proximal humerus were reviewed. Average age was 11.4 years or older. Twenty-three of 41 patients underwent conservative treatment, and the reminder had operative treatment. No complications occurred in all the patients except slight pain in some patients. No patients seen with limitation of the range of motion or sever pain. Results were excellent in Both operative and conservative group. So non-operative treatment is appropriate for most of these fractures, open reduction only in irreducible fractures. |
