Abstract This thesis, wich consists of three chapters, deals with invariant imbedding techniques and its applications to Boundary - Value Problems. In chapter I, we give a survey on various techniques for solving Boundary - Value Problems with particular emphasis on methods which are related in some way or another to invariant imbedding namely, finite - difference methods, shooting and parallel - shooting methods, and the superposition method. |
