Abstract
This thesis includes an investigation to some theories dealing with scattering of the deuteron (as a projectile) with more heavy nucli (as targets) within the frame work of the Glauber approximation. Our attention has been facused on the study of the effect of wave functions of the deuteron on the elastic scattering cross section, and also on the total cross section. In addition we have made a displaying and an investigation to the effect of double soattering on the scattering cross section and also on the total cross section.
