Abstract
The availability of neutron irradiation facilities with isotopic neutron sources, hold promise of providing neutron source for many applications specially for in situ work. This work was directed towards the design and construction of an irradiation facility using the available 5-Ci two plutonium - beryllium neutron sources for possible use in elemental activation analysis. The design of the assembly was based on the desire to have a neutron irradiation assembly capable of safely accomodating the neutron sources and yet allow the work with it both in the laboratory and in the field.
