Abstract
The specific objective of the present study were planned to be realized through the following: 1?Studing of some physical and mechanical properties of olives varieties (Manzanillo, Agize and Picaul). 2?Developing two grading machines suitable for olives. 3?Testing and evaluating the performance of the two grading machines under different operating conditions. 4?Proceeding cost analysis and economic feasibility of the two proposed grading machines. The present study established: 1 The cylindrical grading machine must be used under optimum operational condition, gradingcylinder length,600 mm, cylinder rotating speed 8 rpm, and grading cylinder tilt angle, 1 degree. 2 The belts grading machine must be used under optimum operational condition, grading of feed rate 50 g/s, belts speed 0.079m/s and tilt angle 2 degree.
