Abstract

The experimental work of this study was carried out at Poultry Research Branch, ElGimmizah Research Station (Gharbia Governorate), Animal Production Research Institute, Agriculture Research Center, Ministry of Agriculture, during the period from November, 1999 to Augustus, 2001.experiment 1: The experimental was carried out to investigate the effect of some perstorage Factors on water loss, albumen height, ph albumen, embryonic mortality, fertility and hatchability percentages. The Experiment 2:The objective of the this experiment was to determine the effects of injecting incubated fertile eggs with different doses from either Eltroxin or Growth hormone on hatchability characteristics body weight, body weight gain, growth performance .Results of the first experiment: Egg weight did not differ significantly between strains, but after storage and before incubation was significantly affected by the storage period (P<0.01). Prestorage height and pH of egg albumen was affected significantly (P<0.01).There are significant differences in loss percentages of egg weight during the first 18 days of the incubation period as affected by strains. Fertility and hatchability percentages were not affected by strains, but it was affected significantly (P<0.0i) storage period and RH% of the incubators. strains did not affect the percentages of embryonic mortality, However , percentages of embryonic mortali duriing the first 18 days of the incubation period are affected significantly (P<0.05) by age of breeder, storage period and RH% of incubator . there are significant differences (P<0.01) in body weight of chicks at hatching as affected by strains. Results of the second experiment: There were significant (P<0.05) effect of reatments of the incubated eggs on increass hatchability and decrees embryonic mortality percentages. at hatching, eggs injected with GH at level of 0.02 IU showed significantly (P<0.05) .eggs injected with GH at level of 0.02 IU showed significantly (P<0.05) the heavier body weight gain compared to the other treatment at 04.48.0and 02 weeks. eggs injected with GH at level of 0.02 IU showed significantly (P<0.05) of chickens the heavier relative grow rate as compared to the other treaments. Showed that io our study it found that injection of eggs, produced at 40 weeks of age for Mamourah are Gimmizah 0.10 Ug Eltroxin at 9 days of the incubation period had economical impact on chick production.
