Abstract Survey of pests and their natural enemies on cucurbits crops (cucumber, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe and pumpkin) at four locations (Galmoh, Salaka, Niqitah and Zayan) in Dakahlia Governorate. I Field studies: 1 Insect pests: Apis gossypii, A. carccivora, Myzus persicae, Bemisia tabaci, Thrips tabaci and Tetranychus urtica. 2 Natural enemies associated: Coccinella undecimpunctata, chrysoperla carnea as predators. Amblyseius swiriskii and Orthotydeus califronicus as mite predators. Aphelinus mali, Eretmocerus aegyptiacus, Encarsia lutae as parasitoid on Aphis and Bemisia tabaci. 3 Population dynamics of pests and natural enemies infested cucurbits crops at 4 locations, correlated with temperature and relative humidity and determination peaks for all. 4 Biological studies and efficiency of the lady beetles Coccinella undecimpunctata for controlling Aphis gossypii in field of squash during summer plantation at Salaka region. 5 Effect of insectidal compounds on Bemisia tabaci Biotype B and its parasitoid Eretmocerus aegptiacus. |
