Abstract The present work is assigned to isolate complexes in which the ligands may react in mononegative and binegative manner. The infrared spectral data of the ligands and their corresponding complexes were compared. The 1H NMR spectra of the diamagnetic Cu(II) complexes were used to detect the potential coordination sites. The electronic spectra and magnetic measurements for the isolated complexes indicate that all studied Cu(II) complexes have and solvatochromic behavior which indicated by the red shift as the donor abilities of solvents ions. Studying the electrochemical behavior of acenaphthene derivatives using cyclic voltammetric technique, in which Pt and also DROPping Hg were used as working electrode and calculating the electrochemical parameters. |
