Abstract
Two experiments. (pqts and field) were carried out m Tag El-Ezz Recarch Station, Dakahlia Governorate during 2004 I 2005 seasons. Our research aimed to study the effect of GA3, kinetin and urea on rice.plants grown under different salinity levels. Growth yields as well as chemical constituents were studied. Rice varieties used were Giza 177 and 178 and Sak.ha 101 for field experiments. Salinity levels used in pot experiments were 0.0, 2000~ 4000 and 6000 mg/I while in field experiments were 3000 & 4000 mg/I (area. I and arca2 ). Moreover GA3 ( 100 mg/l), kinetin (20 mg/l) and urea ( 1 ·0%) were used, for plant rice treatments. Rice seeds were pre-soaked in GA3, kinetin or their combinations. Rice plants also sprayed with GA3 kinetin and urea as w~ll as their combinations under different salinity levels either in pot or field experimnts.
