Abstract Parkinol is drug commonly abused between lightminded youth and in prisoners in Egypt and especially Dakahlia Governorate as an alternative of narcotics due to difficulty of getting the latter. The present study aimed to detect the presence of parkinol on blood, urine, nails and hair after injection and indicate if a person takes it or not within a week by a fast and easy method and to investigate the side effects of this drug on biochemical and histopathological changes in rats. |
